The parable of the mustard seed reminds us not to overlook small beginnings. The miracle of the five loaves shows us not to dismiss small offerings. Now, I want to review the parable of the leaven, which teaches us not to ignore the hidden work. Yeshua (Jesus) says a woman takes leaven and hides it in three measures of meal until the whole batch is changed. At first, nothing seems dramatic. There is no noise or show. The leaven disappears into the dough, but once it is there, it starts to work. That is the mystery. The Kingdom often works where people cannot see.
