Israel To Offer Breakthrough Cancer Treatment Through Genomic Profiling: In a breakthrough for cancer care, Israel’s Hadassah-University Medical Center in Jerusalem is officially partnering with the Roche-Israel pharmaceutical company to promote personalized oncology treatment based on the patient’s genomic profile, the Jerusalem Post reports. Genomic profiling identifies DNA mutations within a cancerous tumor to determine how it behaves and grows.
