It is Better to Give than to Receive - International Christian Concern: Years ago, I travelled to Vietnam and met with several persecuted believers. There, I met with the wives of multiple pastors who were imprisoned for their faith. ICC provided these women with resources to help them earn their own income to support themselves during this difficult time. As you can imagine, word spread, and more of these pastors' wives showed up than expected. It was then that I decided to pitch in some of my own money to support these struggling families. While it wasn't a huge sum of money, this simple gift provided tangible relief for these women. I was so encouraged by this exchange and it was the perfect reminder that it truly is more blessed to give than to receive.
