New Zealand-bound plane flies 13 hours only to land back in Dubai after Auckland floods close airport | World News | Sky News: A state of emergency was declared in Auckland on Friday when the city was hit with a whole summer's worth of rain in a single day, forcing the city's airport to remain closed to domestic flights until lunchtime on Saturday and international flights on Sunday morning.
