 Worthy Brief - December 5, 2025

The bride made ready -- identity in covenant love!

Revelation 19:7  Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."

Ephesians 5:25-27  Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,  26  that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27  that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

Every journey of identity culminates in this: you are the Bride of Messiah. Not merely a servant, not merely a disciple, not merely a child — but a Bride being prepared for eternal union with the King. Revelation declares, “The bride has made herself ready,” and Paul reveals how: Messiah “loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify her… and present her to Himself a glorious church.”

Your identity is rooted in love — not human love, but covenant love, eternal love, bridal love. The Bride is not chosen because she is perfect; she becomes perfect because she is chosen. The Bride is not radiant because she strives; she is radiant because she is loved. The Bride does not prepare herself in fear, but in affection — responding to the One who laid His life down for her.

Identity becomes destiny when love becomes union. You are being made ready — washed by the Word, strengthened by the Spirit, adorned with righteousness, purified by His presence. And the more you understand who you are to Him, the more your life aligns with the purity and passion of the Bride.

Awaken to the love that chose you before time began. Respond to His pursuit with your whole heart. Let His affection become the measure of your worth, His gaze the fire that purifies you, and His voice the invitation that draws you deeper into intimacy. Shake off every lesser identity and rise into the one He has spoken over you. You are the Bride of the Lamb — desired, cherished, pursued, and destined for unbreakable union with your Bridegroom King. And with the Spirit burning within you, lift your voice in harmony with heaven’s deepest cry: “Come, even so, come Lord!”

Shabbat Shalom ... have a wonderful weekend! We'll see you first thing on Monday!

Your family in the Lord with much agape love,

George (Jacksonsville, FL) & Baht Rivka (Jerusalem, Israel)
